Central California › Kings River
The Kings River is located east of Fresno. Flowing westerly through Kings National Park it forms the dividing line between the Sierra and Sequoia National Forests. The Kings River is most famous for it’s long, roller coaster rapids.
Difficulty/Season:
The high water mark is reached in late May and early June; waves as tall as 10 feet can be seen regularly. Before and after high water the Kings has over 40 class III rapids suitable for the whole family.
