Mission

Waste Watchers is an interactive mapping site that provides users with information on the county of San Diego environmental health hazards. Our map can be used to pinpoint specific locations by address providing users with  information about  their particular area of interest.  It is our hope to make the public more aware of the hazards that they are exposed to on a daily basis and to offer ways to combat these environmental degradations. 

Waste Watchers was developed in 2001 by four San Diego State University students (for more information about members of Waste Watchers, please click on student profiles).
