1. Please select one specific POINT-type geographic phenomena (such as traffics in San Diego, Bird flu diseases, or the locations of McDonald fast food restaurants. Try to predict their distribution patterns (Randomly? Uniformly? or Clustered distributed?). Can you find any maps to support your prediction? What kinds of statistical methods can be applied in your example? How?
