Rachael
is in her first year of graduate school in the geography program at San Diego
State Univeristy. She completed her B.S. in Environmental Science at the Univeristy
of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1999. After graduation she worked as a
GIS Analyst at the BRAC Superfund site in Devens, MA for two years before relocating
to San Diego, CA. Her current research intrests include wireless/mobile
GIS and environmental poilcy.
Heather
is a senior at San Diego State University anticipating graduation in December
2003. She is a Physical Geography major and minors in Computer Science and is
working simultaneously on a Geographic Infomation Science Certificate. In her
spare time she enjoys surfing, photography, jogging and traveling....especially
to hot springs.
Mission:
Our goal was to create an interactive
mapping website for geothermal springs througout the State of California in
order to fulfil requirements for GEOG 596 at San
Diego State University. After conducting reserach of the current
websites available on geothermal springs, we decided that an interactive mapping
site would be useful to those who enjoy going to hotsprings, or would like
to. We hope you find this site useful in planning a trip to a hotspring
