DOI (Department of Interior) BAER (Burned Area Emergency Response) Team GIS Maps

The  maps  provided below correspond to the downloadable data collected and described  on the "data downloads" page. An effort is being made to collect and  disseminate  additional map files as they becomes available. It is our intent  to  contact, coordinate and acquire additional maps relating to the San   Diego  Wildfires  including  those  collected  by  various  agencies, organizations,  research  facilities,  educational  facilities,  and  other interested  parties.  It  is a SDFRN Data Management goal to incorporate as many of these maps as possible. If you have or know of additional map files that can be included, please contact Dr. Ming-Hsiang Tsou, Dr. Scott Fleury or Ms. Angela Johnson.

The DOI BAER Team developed the following maps for each of the San Diego  2003 wildfires. Each is presented here in downloadable Adobe Acrobat PDF format.

To view and read PDF files, you need to use The Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can download a free copy from the Adobe web site.

Note: Some of these PDF files are very big, the better way to view them is to right click them and download them before opening them up.
