The Fleet houses the world’s first and San Diego’s only IMAX® Dome Theater with engaging large-format films and stimulating planetarium shows. There are over 100 interactive science exhibits that will appeal to visitors of any age, a virtual reality attraction (Meteor Storm) as well as Deep Sea: The Motion Simulator Ride. We recommend visiting here the first Tuesday of the month when admission is free. If you like science you will love this place. It has a ton of cool exhibits and hands on things, if you are with children this is a good place to bring them because there is plenty to keep them occupied. We also recommend checking out the IMAX theatre if you have never been it is great and there are different movies all the time along with science shows.
