Ituri Forest And Tiger River
The Ituri Forest is a great place to see River Otters, Bongos and the various Monkeys of the Ituri Forest. If you are lucky, it is also a wonderful area to see the River Otters interacting with the Monkeys they share their enclosure with.
Tiger River Currently the Tiger River exhibit is under construction. Visitors are only able to view the lower half of the exhibit. We still think it is worth the trip. The Okapis, which can be found at the end of Tiger River, are close relatives of the Giraffe. Visitors are almost guaranteed to see these bizarre creatures.
Around the bend from the Okapis are the Hippos. This exhibit offers fortunate visitors the unique opportunity of seeing these gigantic animals at play in their under water environment. |
