Horn and Hoof Mesa
Spring is a good time to see newborns like this Texas Long Horn calf pictured above at Horn and Hoof Mesa.
Horn and Hoof Mesa is a great place to go for those visitors who don't mind a bit of a walk. A long winding trail takes visitors from the polar bears all the way to back to the front of the park. Along this trail one is certain to see their fill of Antelopes, Gazelles, and much more. This part of the Zoo is also home to one of the worlds greatest Cactus and succulent gardens.
The Zoo Bus Tour is also a great way to view the animals of Horn and Hoof Mesa without all the walking. |
