In
the upper right side, chose a cancer category.
Make sure there is a black check mark by the
cancer you chose and not by any other category.
When you chose a cancer a black border
should appear around your choice.
Next,
view income or education by state. Income and
education follow each other closely. In other
words if you have more education you are likely
to have more income and if you have more income
it is likely you have had more education.
Income is shown per capita and education
by race and gender.
Notice differences between states and
then see
if those states that are either high or low have
different rates of cancer.
Chose
black or white and male or female and then a
time period.
Click
on “View” and watch the map change.

see what the colors represent click on “Legend”.
