Research by the Interactive Digital Software Association shows that the average age of a game player is 28, while most video game players are adults and the most common age group is 18-35. Similar research by other organizations, such as the European Leisure Software Publishers Association, supports these findings. College students and recent graduates fall into this age group and are thought to be among the main purchasers of video games. In San Diego, video game stores can be found in major shopping centers, along major roads and near to universities. By using this service, consumers can simply point and click to find the name and address of the nearest game store, as well as the shopping center in which it's located, if any. This eliminates the need to use out of date, incomplete online yellow pages or paper yellow pages which do not show which store is the closest. |
