Huge mounds of steeply sloped dirt and almost completely bare ground make the erosion potential at this site enormous. To the contractor's credit, the erosion potential has been greatly reduced by significant placement of structural BMPs.

 

 A large pile of stones have been placed around the storm water inlet and the sloping area leading to the drainage ditch has been surrounded by a double layer of gravel bags

 

Another view shows the large  fiber rolls terraced to prevent channeling and soil loss on the slope. A silt fence extends all the way around the dirt mound.
