Mission Statement
Geographic Information System is
"Analysis that combine relational databases with
spatial interpretation and outputs often in form of maps. A more
elaborate definition is that of computer programmes for capturing,
storing, checking, integrating, analysing and displaying data about
the earth that is spatially referenced." In the past resent years,
GIS has become a widely used tool to solve many different problems.
In this case, we want to demonstrate how Humanitarian Aid Groups in
Somalia can use GIS as a tool to help them deliver aid.
