Our Mission:

To provide Site Locations and any information to San Diego tide pools.  Many of the tide pools in San Diego are protected.  It is our responsibility not to remove wildlife or disturb this fragile habitat.  Even though there are still occurrences of environmental impacts, we all should take part and help maintain these tide pools for years to come.

The more one person understands about where tide pools are, the more they will see how unique and interesting it is to actually visit one.

Research:

There are some organizations in the local areas that are researching the changes to tidal pools.  They are the Scripps Institute, and the Cabrillo National Park.  Other research has been done by the Beach Watchers of Washington State University to describe most sea life along the West Coast.
