Ph.D., Geography, University of Colorado at Boulder, 2001. Associate Professor with interests in Internet-based GIS applications, distributed computing, intelligent agents, and metadata modeling.  His current research includes:

  1. Internet GIS and wireless Mobile GIS.
  2. Distributed Component Technologies (DCOM, CORBA, XML, and Java platform) and the current development of the OpenGIS project and ISO/TC 211.
  3. User interface design and visualization in Cartography.
